Canadian Orders: Canadian Wide distrubution is done via the least expensive rates possible. Most products are delivered by Armor Transport in the Atlantic Region and/or Canada Post/Purolator Courier; whatever is the best rate for our customer at the time of order. Your order will be put together and dispatched following confirmation and based upon a stock availability check. As a Canadian company we are able to sell Canadian shoppers our products hassle free of no import duties, customs or brokers fees. All shipping and delivery expenses are to be borne by the customer. We do our best to offer the best shipping rates we can get for our customers.

If you have any special requirements or requests please let us know at the point of order so that we can endeavor to make these happen for you.

Delivery: BLE offers delivery service, when available, to communities in and around Saint John to Moncton area in New Brunswick, for a nominal amount per order. We can ship anywhere in Canada and have very good rates for Altantic Canadian customers. Shipping is determined by weight and size and destination. We will contact customers with their order tracking number.

Local Pick ups: Even though we do not have a store front we do allow local customers, at our convenience, a chance to pick up their orders from us to save on shipping costs.

*Local pick- ups must provide their own boxes and exact amount of payment in cash.

Important information: RETURNS and Cancellations

Food items are not returnable, unless sent in error.

BLE will accept returned new, un-opened items purchased and fulfilled from Basic Life Essentials within 30 days of purchase from BLE at customers own shipping expense, this does not include food items. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Basic Life Essentials will only pay return shipping charges if the return is a result of error on part of BLE.

Items That Are Not Returnable:

Basic Life Essentails does not accept returns of the following items:
1. Items that are opened and used. If any items are sent by mistake, that are not on your order, we will pay for return shipping if you choose not to purchase them. If a such product is opened or used, the customer is reasonsible for payment.
2. Items that are damaged by customers.
3. Food or water storage containers that have been used.
4. Food items that have been opened or just because customer does not want a certain product that they agreed to order and pay for an get shipped.
5. Bulk foods and Emergency Food Buckets - FFHI 275 Servings of EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPLY -Item number 2-0003 are not returnable.
6. Electronics (other than warranty items)

All returns have to be authorized by BLE. Please do not send any merchandise back without contacting us before shipping.

Cancel Items from an Order:
BLE customers may cancel an item from their order for any item provided that the customers order has not yet entered the shipping and processing department. Once you have agreed to purchase your order and it is being processed and finalized, the customer is responsible for that order.
Customers are encouraged to contact BLE as soon as possible to cancel items from their order, before they are in the last stages of finalization.
If the item to be cancelled has already entered the shipping process, it cannot be cancelled.

If you need a last minute cancellation, a fee of $20 will apply.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Please note that all our prices on our website and catalog are in Canadian dollars not including GST. We reserve the right to change the price when needed. If your order is being delivered within Canada then your bill will include GST on items other than food. If your order is being delivered outside Canada then your bill will exclude GST, but you will be responsible for paying any applicable custom fees and import duties when you receive your package. At this point in time we don't deliver outside of Canada, unless you are in the U.S and place an order through our Independant Shelf Reliance Consultant.

Accepted Forms of Payment: Cheque(order will not be delivered until your cheque has cleared), Cash, Money Order, Email Transfer(your fee is $1.50) and Paypal.
